Any relation to Vice President Dick Cheney?

No.

Not that I'd mind being related, but we aren't to the best of my knowledge. (But we still call him "Uncle Dick" for fun ;-)

However, there was one really odd event a few years ago. Remember when the VP got a pacemaker? The week before I had one implanted too after a minor heart problem was detected. Mine is just a simple one, not the defibulator type that he got. Thankfully my heart hasn't given me any troubles since then.
